Jeffrey Higgins is a highly accomplished retail real estate professional with more than 22 years of experience. His diverse background includes leasing, site selection, consulting, acquisitions, investment sales and development and he has worked on all types of retail property from neighborhood strip centers to super-regional malls.
Mr. Higgins is an expert merchandiser of shopping centers and he has created merchandise plans that have transformed shopping centers. He is a retailer with direct experience as a store operator, which combined with his vast real estate knowledge, gives him a unique perspective to offer invaluable counsel and strategic guidance to his clients.
Prior to forming Indigo Centers, Mr. Higgins was a top-ranking leasing executive for Taubman. He led and directed the leasing program for more than 75 key retail and restaurant accounts including Coach, Darden Restaurants, Gap Inc., Brookstone, The Cheesecake Factory, Lululemon, Restoration Hardware and Polo Ralph Lauren.
Mr. Higgins has direct retail experience and everything he does is done through
the eyes of a retailer. Prior to Taubman, Mr. Higgins was the owner and operator of a small retail chain.
Early in his career Mr. Higgins served as President of Higgins Realty Group, Inc., a boutique retail real estate firm that specialized in open-air centers.
Mr. Higgins holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (BBA) from The University of Michigan, with a specialization in Real Estate & Finance. He is also an active member of ICSC and a graduate of University of Shopping Centers, an ICSC graduate program.

Jon A. Griffey is a long-time Texas resident and consummate professional and industry leader in the retail real estate arena with over 30 years of experience. Jon was born in Oklahoma City but was raised in Deer Park, Texas where his love for everything Texas took root. He earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana where he attended on a full basketball scholarship.
After graduation, Jon returned to Texas and settled into the Dallas area to begin his accomplished career in retail leasing. To date, Jon has successfully leased over 25 Enclosed Regional and Super Regional Malls, Power Centers and Lifestyle Centers across the United States. Jon started JAG Real Estate Investments in May of 2000 to serve both private developers and institutional owners and successfully operated his company until January 2010. JAG specialized in retail leasing, including new development and the remerchandising of existing centers. Jon prides himself on listening to his clients and offering unmatched service with one goal for his clients: increase value and maximize NOI. Indigo Centers engaged Jon in November 2015 as Vice President, Leasing where he will lead the leasing campaigns for our Texas malls, including Collin Creek Mall in Plano and West Oaks Mall in Houston.
Jon now lives in Hurst, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Since 1983, he has been an active member of ICSC and, like most Texans, likes fishing, hunting and country music.

Mr. Jacob is a seasoned Retail Real Estate Professional with over 22 years of experience and has developed, sold or leased over three (3) million feet of properties! He has extensive knowledge of the national marketplace and has an ability to understand and anticipate consumer trends in Southeast Michigan and South Florida.
Mr. Jacob began his career at a local boutique firm and quickly was recruited to establish a retail department for Grubb and Ellis. After much success, he was recruited by Signature Associates to once again establish a retail department. Mr. Jacob spent 15 years at Signature Associates and leased a variety of retail properties and represented retailers.
Desiring to further expand his portfolio and to specialize in site selection and development, Mr. Jacob joined The Velmeir Companies, a national developer, to represent retailer clients including: CVS, Chase Bank, Aldi Markets, Tim Horton’s and McDonald’s, to name a few.
At Indigo Centers, Mr. Jacob is focused on open-air retail properties and restaurants. He is responsible for leasing retail space on the periphery the company’s malls. Mr. Jacob also leads the company’s restaurant leasing group.
Mr. Jacob is an active member of ICSC and attended Central Michigan University and Wayne State University.

Ben is an accomplished, young real estate professional. Coming to Indigo Centers at his 4 year anniversary in the commercial real estate business, Ben’s experience in the retail business speaks for itself. He has generated over $15.8 million dollars in business for his clients and received the CoStar’s Power Broker award in 2013 and 2014. Now that he is with Indigo Centers, he has no intention of slowing down.
Ben assists owners of properties who are frustrated with the lack of qualified leasing and selling prospects in the market and who are worried about not only ensuring enough people are seeing their property, but that the right people are seeing their property. He helps business owners who are concerned about making the right site selection and who are anxious about getting their best opportunity with a landlord. He also aids buyers and investors who are tired of sifting through piles of properties they cannot or will not buy and who need someone who can help them turn opportunities into closings.
Ben was born in Israel and has lived in 3 countries on 2 continents. He attended Yeshiva University in New York and moved to Detroit in 2004. His multi-cultural background provides him with the ability to easily walk into the diverse business environment of Detroit and make others immediately feel
comfortable doing business with him. In addition, Ben brings technical knowledge to his real estate dealings with his expertise in LinkedIn, Twitter, blogging and other social media marketing, and he has experience in public speaking and consulting for businesses, successfully building a reputation based on attraction rather than promotion.

Ben Hubert has been involved in various aspects of real estate for the past 15 years. While in college , he started a family owned business, Cuzzens Real Estate Services. Cuzzens Real Estate Services evolved to one of the largest local residential appraisal firms in the Metro Detroit area.
Ben was employed by Kurschat & Company in 2008, where he appraised and consulted clients on a variety of commercial properties, including apartments, office buildings, industrial complexes, vacant land, condominium developments, subdivisions, shopping centers, churches and synagogues, child daycare facilities, gas stations, car washes, auto repair facilities, equestrian facilities, and self-storage facilities. He has experience preparing appraisals for mortgage, condemnation, estate tax planning, tax appeal, and other purposes.
Over the past year he has focused his attention on real estate brokerage. Ben’s commercial appraisal background gives him a unique set of skills to appropriately evaluate retail real estate and negotiate on behalf of his clients. Ben has been focusing on sales and leasing of retail centers and commercial buildings, and tenant representation.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Michigan and he is an active member of ICSC.

Eric Ebeling is a Michigan native born in Rochester and raised in Oxford. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Abilene Christian University while serving as the youth pastor for Abilene Mission Church. A small summer job selling webpages to churches and local businesses helped launch his career at School Vision as an inside/outside educational sales representative to Apple.
A growing family and the desire to move closer to his roots led Eric back to Michigan and to a change in professions when he began working as a commercial real estate appraiser and consultant with Kurschat and Company. During his 13 years with Kurschat, he consulted with clients and appraised a variety of commercial properties and new developments, including shopping centers, retail properties, apartments and condominium developments, subdivisions, office and industrial buildings, hotels, churches and schools.
After a three year hiatus serving as a 5th grade elementary teacher and Pastor to a small church in Chiang Rai, Thailand, Eric moved back to Michigan where he continues to use his real estate expertise to help investors and retailers make wise real estate purchasing and leasing decisions. Eric’s commercial appraisal background, combined with his international experience, gives him a unique set of skills to evaluate retail real estate and negotiate on behalf of his clients. Eric’s focus at Indigo will be on the sale and leasing of retail centers and commercial buildings, as well as the representation of tenants.
Eric is an active member of ICSC and is blessed with his lovely wife, Rutha, of 20 years and 5 beautiful children – Hannah (18), Judah (15), Gideon (13), Jadon (10) and Esther (8).

Gabi Grossbard was born in Jerusalem, Israel and served as a sergeant in the Israeli Army’s Artillery Division. He moved to the United States in 1993 and settled in Queens, New York where he worked for 6 years as a production manager in the knitwear industry.
In 1999, Gabi moved to Southfield, Michigan and sold new cars at a Chrysler Jeep dealership for nearly 8 years during which time he received multiple awards for achieving high-volume levels and customer satisfaction. His business model is simple –provide unparalleled customer service – which generates repeat and referral business. This service-oriented model helped Gabi finish in the Top 5 salespeople in the U.S. on an annual basis.
Gabi left the dealership to venture out on his own and opened Gabi’s Auto Service Center in 2008, taking over a failing shop and rebuilding its reputation by employing his service-oriented business approved. He grew the business and sold the service center at the end of 2014.
Gabi joined the Indigo team in May of 2015 where he will specialize in the leasing and sale of retail properties. He will be able to leverage his years of sales and entrepreneurial experience along with his service-oriented business approach in the retail real estate arena.
Gabi has been married to his wife, Milaine, for 22 years, and they have 6 children ranging in ages from 2 to 21. He is the Congregation President of the Ahavas Olam Weingarden Torah Center where among other responsibilities he leads various building and construction projects. Gabi is an active member of ICSC.
